Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlowIn, a macOS application provided by AstraBreeze, Inc. ("FlowIn", "we", "us"). By downloading or using FlowIn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use FlowIn.

2. The service

FlowIn is a Mac application that provides predictive typing and AI-assisted writing across the apps you type in. Features and limits may change over time as we improve the product.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract, to use FlowIn.

4. Your license and restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use FlowIn for your own use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by AstraBreeze, Inc.

Except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction, you may not, and may not permit or help anyone else to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive or extract the source code, algorithms, models, or embedded credentials of FlowIn; (b) circumvent, disable, remove, or tamper with any license check, activation, usage limit, security feature, or other technical protection measure; (c) modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of FlowIn; (d) resell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or share the app or your license key, or use FlowIn to build a competing product; (e) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or (f) access or use FlowIn through automated means to evade limits or extract data. We may use technical measures to protect and enforce these restrictions.

5. Plans, trials, and billing

FlowIn offers a free plan and a paid Pro subscription (monthly or annual), at the prices shown on our Pricing page. New users start with a 14-day trial of unlimited autocomplete.

Pro is a recurring subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment processor, and by subscribing you also agree to their terms.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Manage Subscription inside the app, which opens our billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep Pro until then, and you are not charged again after that.

7. Refunds

Monthly Pro subscriptions are non-refundable: canceling stops future charges rather than refunding the current period.

Annual Pro subscriptions may be refunded in full if you request it within 14 days of the initial purchase by emailing [email protected]. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, and canceling stops future charges rather than refunding the current period.

These terms apply except where the law requires otherwise. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] and we will look into it.

8. Price changes

We may change our prices. If a change affects your subscription, we will give you advance notice, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Devices

A Pro subscription may be used on up to three devices. You can view and deactivate devices in the app to free a seat.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use FlowIn for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with or abuse the service or its infrastructure, not to attempt to bypass usage limits or access controls, and not to use FlowIn to generate content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.

11. Your content

The text you write is yours. We do not claim ownership of it, and we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you write and send using FlowIn.

12. Intellectual property

FlowIn, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AstraBreeze, Inc. and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in it other than the license described above.

13. Disclaimers

FlowIn is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate or inappropriate, and you are responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on or send it.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AstraBreeze, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to FlowIn will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AstraBreeze, Inc. and its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of FlowIn, your content, or your violation of these Terms, of any law, or of the rights of any third party.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of FlowIn will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by a recognized arbitration provider seated in Delaware, rather than in court. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.

Notwithstanding the arbitration requirement above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of its intellectual property or confidential information, or a breach of the license and restrictions in Section 4.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and AstraBreeze, Inc. each waive the right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is held unenforceable, the remainder of this section still applies.

17. Termination

You can stop using FlowIn at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use FlowIn in a way that could harm the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FlowIn after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
